Virtual gameshow fans rejoice! When NBC’s 1 Vs 100 makes the jump to the Xbox Live Arcade later this Spring, all Xbox Live Gold members will be able to download the game free of charge.

While it won’t entirely cover the sting of losing host Bob Saget, the Xbox Live Arcade version of the gameshow will offer support for Microsoft’s Avatars, while utilizing the immense Xbox Live playerbase to replicate the TV show.

“Enjoy Live episodes where you play the game at specified times, massively multiplayer allows you to play with friends and against the masses, with a Live host in each game,” the game’s official website says.

No specific release date has yet been nailed down for the game.

1 vs 100 Beta is on in Canada

Starting this Friday, May 8th our fine friends in Canada are going to get the very first look at the new Xbox LIVE show 1 vs 100 when the team rolls out a beta just for Canada*. If you have have an Xbox LIVE Gold account in Canada, you’ll want to check out the beta since in addition to it being a lot of fun, they’re also giving away real prizes. Hit the 1 vs 100 page on Xbox.com for FAQ’s, Rules and more. Keep an ear out as well, as I may drop in a few nights as ‘guest host.’

What You Need to Know

* Maingear’s case design is over 1.5′ high and 2′ deep
* It is a little larger than most gaming PCs we’ve seen
* You can get colored LED lighting for an extra $100
* We also like the free laser etching option
* This is some of the best system organization we’ve seen
* Cabling is practically invisible
* Liquid cooling is on the top of the case, not blocking the motherboard
* It has slide out hard drive bays
* Overall, it’s a very accessible system
* It has two Nvidia video cards with 2 GB of RAM on each
* The computer also has the latest Intel i7 chip
* In our 3D Mark Vantage tests, it did incredible; it got the highest CPU scores we’ve seen, and it now holds the title of Fastest Gaming PC on AOTS with 27,000 points
* Games like Fear 2 look spectacular, and you can get this machine with Nvidia’s 3D Vision add-on for an extra $600 to make it look even better

Price

* The system they’ve configured for us is around $3,000, but they start at $1,600
* The last computer we gave the title of “fastest computer” was $10,000 and this one is less than half that
